Stairs, ceilings, and every detail before the drywall, framed square and plumb across the Ottawa area. Close to ten years of the work that holds the finish together.
A back-framer's main job is to get the house ready for the drywall stage, after all the other main trades have been through.
It is the strapping, the ceilings, the openings, the backing, and the dozens of details that decide how cleanly everything after it goes on. Done right, the finishers walk into a square, plumb, ready house. That is the difference a careful back-framer makes, and it is the standard on every D.P.O. job.
Everything between the structure and the drywall, plus rough framing of all kinds.
A look at the framing behind the finish, including the curved and round stairs D.P.O. is known for.
I'm Donavon O'Leary, and I own D.P.O. Carpentry. I've been back-framing and framing for close to ten years now, and I've been part of a lot of great builds around the Ottawa area. My goal is simple: bring quality and passion back into the trade.
Right now it's a one-man shop, so everything you see is done by me. Some of the work I'm proudest of lately is curved walls and round stairs. Keep D.P.O. Carpentry in mind for your next build, and let me be your back-framing specialist. I promise, when you walk into a house I've done, you'll see Quality That Shows.
